Mudrus exists to carry something a mosque already does well onto a surface that does not fade, tear, or leave with a teacher.
Why this exists
This section is the founder's to write, and it is deliberately left empty rather than filled with an invented history. What belongs here: the maktab this started in, the register that was lost, and the reason a child's recording was never going to be sent to a model for scoring.
Paper is not the enemy.
A paper register is fast, needs no battery, and has kept the memorisation of the Quran for centuries longer than any software will. What it cannot do is show a parent their child's progress on a Tuesday evening, survive a teacher moving away, or tell an administrator which four students have quietly stopped turning up. Mudrus is not a replacement for the discipline of the ledger — it is the same ledger, legible to more people, in more places, for longer.
Why the tiers carry these names.
Halaqah, Suffah, Maktab, Madrasa. Not Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise. Each names a real institution of Islamic learning, in ascending order of scale, and each meaning is printed on the pricing page rather than assumed. A mosque administrator should recognise the shape of their own institution in the name of what they are paying for.

Amānah
Data held in trust. A mosque's records belong to the mosque, and a child's voice belongs to the child.
Iḥsān
Craft in small things. The Hijri date, the Naskh typeface, the register that prints correctly.

Built for the long journey of hifdh, which is measured in years and not in quarters.
